TransVolt Power Solutions Ltd was founded to give UK asset owners direct access to proven transformer manufacturers and specialist equipment, with an engineer in the loop at every stage.
Ami has specified, procured, design-reviewed, tested and managed power transformers for more than 20 years, on networks from 11 kV to 400 kV and on generation, renewable and industrial sites.
He has published and presented more than 35 papers on transformer diagnostics, failure investigation, monitoring and asset management at CIGRE, Doble, TechCon, INSUCON, IMechE and Omicron conferences, is an IET Professional Registration Advisor, and sits as a non-executive director on public and third-sector boards. TransVolt exists to put that depth of transformer knowledge at the service of the UK high-voltage industry: supplying the right transformer, keeping its oil and insulation in condition, testing it properly and finding out why it failed when it does.
